September 2005
Spring is here 

September 12th, 2005

Rain, rain, rain. The rain doesn't stop for three days. Our winter creek is full of water. 

September 18th, 2005

The sky is clear again and the sun is shining. It is warm today, almost 20 degrees Celsius. The sailing season has started right in front of our doorstep.

September 25th, 2005

All the little things that take up so much time and can be quite frustrating are done! Mouldings around windows and doors are in place, all walls are painted. The pine panelling has received two coats of varnish.

A Tasmanian native hen. These birds like to scratch the dirt with their strong legs in just the same way  a domestic chicken does. They are restless creatures and like to run from one corner of the paddock to the other. Even at night-time we can hear them clucking somewhere in the distance.
